This policy covers the Founding Member waitlist at waitlist.riplo.app only. It does not describe the full Riplo product (subscriptions, Google Business Profile sync, SMS, or AI reply drafting). Those will have their own policy at launch. Riplo is pre-incorporation: no registered company details are published yet.
Welcome to Riplo (“we,” “our,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit waitlist.riplo.app (the “Site”). If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information about you in a few ways when you use the Site.
1.1 Personal data
Information you voluntarily provide when you join the waitlist, including:
- Business name
- Email address
- Optional Google Business / Maps link
- Referral code, if you arrived through someone’s invite link
1.2 Derivative data
Information our servers or hosting provider may collect when you access the Site, such as IP-based country/city estimate, browser type, referrer, and the page URL used for signup.
1.3 Cookies and tracking technologies
This waitlist does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we later enable simple first-party analytics, we will update this page. Most browsers let you decline or remove cookies in their settings.

- To run the Founding Member waitlist and confirm your signup
- To email you when Riplo opens, and about related waitlist updates
- To count referrals and reduce spam or fake signups
- To keep the Site safe and working
- To respond if you contact us
3. Disclosure of your information
3.1 By law or to protect rights
If we believe disclosure is necessary to respond to legal process, investigate potential abuse, or protect rights, property, or safety, we may share information as permitted or required by law.
3.2 Third-party service providers
For this waitlist we currently use:
- Vercel (hosting and edge/IP-based location hints used for signup context)
- Google Sheets / Google Apps Script (waitlist storage and referral counting)
- Resend and/or Gmail via Apps Script (transactional waitlist email)
We do not send waitlist form data to OpenAI, Stripe, Supabase, Twilio, or similar product backends on this Site. If that changes, we will update this list.
3.3 Business transfers
If Riplo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, waitlist data may transfer as part of that process, with appropriate notice where required.
4. Security of your information
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
5. Policy for children
The Site is for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your privacy rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to leave the waitlist. Email hello@riplo.app.
7. Data retention
We keep waitlist signup data (business name, email, optional Google link, referral metadata, and technical signup context) until the earlier of:
- 12 months after Riplo public launch onboarding for your signup is finished, or
- your deletion request, which we aim to handle within 30 days of a verified email to hello@riplo.app
Transactional email logs held by providers may persist for a shorter provider-default period. After we delete your waitlist row we stop mailing you about the waitlist.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this page as our practices or legal needs change. Updates will appear here with a new effective date.
